July 2024 — Grant from the ACTEC Foundation

The Global Wealth Management Project is delighted to announce that it has received a grant from the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) Foundation to host a Trust and Succession Law Workshop on November 1–2, 2024. The Workshop, organized by Professor Thomas P. Gallanis, brings trusts and estates scholars from across the country to Scalia Law to discuss their scholarship in progress.

May 2024 – Professor Gallanis Delivers Presentation to Renmin University of China

Professor Thomas P. Gallanis delivered a presentation by Zoom to a conference at Renmin University of China on May 24, 2024. His presentation was titled “The Property Management Function of Trusts and the Effective Use of Trust Assets: A U.S. Perspective.”

March 2024 — Professor Gallanis Delivers Lectures and Workshops at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Hong Kong

Professor Thomas P. Gallanis delivered lectures and workshops at the KoGuan Law School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), where he is a chair visiting professor, and to the Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong (HKU).

February 2024 — Professor Gallanis Publishes Ninth Edition of Family Property Law

Professor Thomas P. Gallanis has published the Ninth Edition of the prominent casebook Family Property Law: Cases and Materials on Wills, Trusts, and Estates with Foundation Press.

October 2023 — Global Wealth Management Project Launches with Inaugural Lecture
